Georgetown University School of Nursing & Health Studies houses a three-tiered advising system for undergraduate students.
Each undergraduate is assigned an academic advisor, a faculty advisor, and a peer advisor.
- Academic advisors help navigate curricular options and make responsible choices when it comes to intellectual pursuits. These advisors are within the Office of Student Academic Affairs.
- Faculty advisors play an integral role in undergraduate student life, working to identify career interests and opportunities for professional development throughout the course of study.
- Peer advisors are current students who guide fellow students through the essentials of NHS and Georgetown, primarily during the initial year.
We encourage undergraduates to maintain regular contact with all advisors and take advantage of this comprehensive advising system.
