Since our founding in 1903, Georgetown University School of Nursing & Health Studies has provided students with dynamic opportunities to apply classroom knowledge in real-life settings.
In support of this goal of robust experiential learning, the school—through the generous support of many donors—founded the Discovery Center in 2006. Now celebrating its 10th anniversary, the center has advanced the research of our faculty investigators, enabled professors to involve undergraduate students in their bench research, and positioned students to publish and present their findings in peer-reviewed journals and at national research meetings.
With a decade of productivity behind us, we take this moment to mark exemplary achievement emanating from the Discovery Center and share our vision, in alignment with the school’s Strategic Plan, for the future.
