Why did you come to Georgetown?
I chose Georgetown University because it has a reputation for academic excellence. For instance, Georgetown University’s Health Systems Administration program offers the courses necessary to prepare one for a career in health care administration. In addition, Georgetown’s location in Washington D.C. provides a breadth of opportunity for health care management and policy experience and mentorship.

What is your favorite part about your program?
The classroom experience is priceless as the professors provide real-world testimonies about what it means to work in the health care field, which helps put the coursework and readings into perspective. After every class, one can walk away with both the theory and the practical advice that can be used during a future career as a health care administrator.

What is one piece of advice that you would give to prospective/current students?
Choose a program that provides many tools for success. Practical experience and mentorship opportunities in addition to a strong academic record are the key ingredients for a strong educational experience, and Georgetown offers all of those factors in addition to many others.
