Does my hotel reservation automatically register me for Parents' Weekend?

No. You will be registered for Parents’ Weekend events by returning the completed Registration Form along with your check.

Should we expect to receive additional information regarding Parents' Weekend prior to our visit to Georgetown University?

No, but you may access information regarding Parents’ Weekend events by visiting our our Parents' Weekend website.

Where do we park once we arrive? Are parking passes issued?

Friday: Use of Metro/GUTS buses or taxis is strongly encouraged because there will be very limited on-campus parking on Friday, October 16.

Saturday & Sunday: Guest parking will be available in the Southwest Quad garage which can b accessed from Canal Road.

Where and when can we pick up our registration packets once we are on campus?

Friday, October 17, 12:00 noon-4:00 pm, St. Mary’s Hall

Saturday, October 18, 8:00am -10:00 am, St. Mary’s Hall

What is the dress code for Parents' Weekend?

We see many styles of dress ranging from casual to business attire. We recommend that you dress in layers since temperatures in our buildings may vary.

Are family members and guests welcome at all events?

Siblings, grandparents, and other family members or guests are welcome at all events.
