NHS Professor Serves on Cyberpanel
Michael Stoto, Ph.D., a professor in the Department of Health Systems
Administration at NHS, took part in a cyberpanel discussion about
public health
on May 23, 2007.
The web-based seminar provided an overview of regionalization in
public health
systems, gave examples of implementation of this method, highlighted
new
research findings in this area, and addressed in institutionalizing
this
approach. Stoto spoke on, "The Evidence-Base for Regionalization."
The event, sponsored by AcademyHealth, also included Harold Cox
of Boston
University, Patrick Lenihan of the University of Illinois at Chicago,
and David
Palm of the Nebraska Department of Health & Human Services.
