students at Hoyathon 2006, which raised more than $39,000 for
Children's National Medical Center and Georgetown University
Hospital. Albutt, a 2007 Landegger Award winner and Hoyathon
board member, has done a great deal of service at Georgetown. |
Three students at the School of Nursing & Health Studies were
among the winners of the 2007 Landegger Awards.
Katherine Albutt (NHS'08) is a major in the Department of International
Health. Siobhan McCarty (NHS'07) and Martyna Skowron (NHS'09) are
majoring in the Department of Human Science.
Established to commemorate the memory of the late Lena Landegger,
the Landegger Charitable Foundation made this generous gift to the
university for the purpose of honoring and rewarding Georgetown undergraduates
for their contribution to community service.
These students will each receive awards of $2,500.
