NHS Professor Presents at AACN Conference

Karen S. Kesten, an assistant professor in the Department of Nursing at NHS, presented at a conference of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses in Atlanta from May 18-21, 2007.

Kesten, who is also program director of the Acute and Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist Program, presented at the Leadership Development Workshop on the topic of healthy work environments. She also presented twice on the topic of, "Challenge of Cultural Diversity for the Educator."

The event was held as part of the National Teaching Institute of AACN.
