On April 11, the NHS Academic Council
hosted a dinner with Allan D. Angerio, Ph.D., associate professor
in the Department of Human Science.
Students from various classes and majors attended, according to
Martyna Skowron (NHS'09), incoming vice chair of the council.
"Dinner was absolutely amazing," she said. "He
was extremely personable, included everybody in the conversations,
and talked about everything from his childhood to advice in academics."
"Everybody left beaming about the sweet gentlemen [who] was
previously hidden behind a white lab coat in all of our toughest
NHS classes," she said. "We were there for four hours.
When talking to the students afterwards, they said they would have
stayed for hours more."
"He is just extremely interesting and truly an asset to NHS
even outside of all the teaching he provides," she said.
