All Georgetown Students Pass NCLEX On First Time

Once again, Georgetown University School of Nursing & Health
Studies achieved a perfect score on the National Council Licensure
Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
All nursing students who took the examination in December 2006 passed
the licensure examination on their first attempt. Earlier in the
year, one hundred percent of the May cohort also passed the initial
time around.
"We are extremely proud of our students," said Michael
Relf, Ph.D., chair of the Department of Nursing. "We offer
a rigorous curriculum that prepares students, not just for entry
into practice and licensure, but for the challenges of contemporary
clinical practice."
