Students Inducted Into Upsilon Phi Delta
On April 30, the Department of Health Systems Administration at
NHS hosted a ceremony for 20 undergraduate and graduate students
who were inducted into Upsilon Phi Delta, the national academic
honor society for students in health care administration.
Undergraduate inductees include Madeline Seergy, Elspeth Rollert,
and Christopher Murray.
Graduate students include Aarathi Akella, Varinton Aramvareekul,
Shirin Byrd, Louise Robyn Day, Elisabeth Daniel, Bianca Grimaldi,
Meghan Healy, Margaret Herseth, Tonya Jones, Thomas Mullin, Nicole
Nenna, Jason Nesbit, Christopher Perkins, Meaghan Quinn, Rachel
Spencer, Bridgette Wiley, and Olga Zavadska.
In addition, James Caldas, president of the Washington Hospital
Center, became an honorary inductee at the event.
The Upsilon Phi Delta honor society is a member benefit of the
Association of University Programs in Health Administration.
