NHS Faculty to Present in Chicago
Several
faculty members in the Department of Nursing at NHS will present
at the National Teaching Institute of the American Association
of Critical Care Nurses in Chicago from May 3-8, 2008.
Karen Kesten,
program director of the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program and
the Acute and Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist Program,
will present on, "Doctor of Nursing Practice: Translating
Evidence from the Bench" and "Chapter Collaboratives:
Translating AACN Initiatives into Action."
Linda Briggs, assistant professor of nursing, and Helen Brown,
adjunct instructor of nursing, are speaking on, "What's in
a Name? Complex Cases in Diagnostic Reasoning."
Helen Brown will also deliver the talk, "Black, White,
and Needs to be Read: Chest X-Ray Interpretation."
