Filerman Meets With Prime Minister

Gary Filerman, Ph.D., chair of the Department of Health Systems Administration at NHS, recently met with Manmohan Singh, prime minister of India, during a trip to the country in December.

Filerman chaired a one one-week visit by the leadership of Volunteers of America to investigate in-country service opportunities.

Filerman also serves as chair of the VOA international advisory board. The group is one the nation's largest and most comprehensive human services organizations, serving more than two million people each year.
