Stoica Presents at Cancer Conference

Adriana Stoica, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of
Human Science at NHS, is speaking at a three-day conference on
targeted therapies in cancer.
Held in Washington, D.C., the Sixth International Congress on
Targeted Therapies in Cancer is an educational and scientific meeting
designed to provide a comprehensive overview of advances in the
novel targeted agents that have been or are being developed as
a result of our rapidly evolving understanding of the molecular
biology, pathogenesis, and progression of cancer.
Stoica will present on "The Role of the ErbB2/PI 3-K/Akt1
Pathway in Antiestrogen Resistance." Abstract co-authors
include faculty from the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center,
as well as human science majors at NHS.
