NHS Dean Bette Keltner; Craig and Sharon Ramey, directors of the Georgetown University Center on Health and Education; and Kathryn Leonhardy, assistant professor in the NHS Department of International Health, will speak at the June 25-30 event.

Keltner and Leonhardy will address, “Developmental Well-Being in the Western Hemisphere: The Challenge and Potential for Special Needs Youth.”

Craig Ramey will speak on “The Right to Thrive,” during a session on developmental well-being from pre-birth to age three.

And Sharon Ramey will discuss, “Obstacles and Resolutions to Help Families Foster Developmental Well-Being.”

The annual conference is part of the International Academy of Law and Mental Health, which convenes experts from law, the health professions, the social sciences, and the humanities to address issues arising from the intersection of law and mental health.
