By entering our Web site, you have shown interest in the dynamic field of health systems administration. It is a very important and challenging time to be a health services executive. Our Department of Health Systems Administration, with vibrant undergraduate and graduate programs, provides the foundation you will need to make a significant contribution to the health care system.

I came here in 2000 after a long career in the field of education for the profession because Georgetown offered the best opportunity in the nation to build the program for the future.

It is first of all a great Jesuit university with a powerful commitment to provide the best possible learning opportunity. It has a supportive student centered administrative environment that facilitated assembling solid teaching talent from the campus and the community. Working with faculty who have successful experience in practice and in education, was very attractive to me, and it will be to you too.

The faculty and students are enjoying working together to grow the program. We are continually reminded of how the richness of the university and the community enable the program and the students to build the curriculum.
