Career Fair

Organization,
The Academic Council of the School of Nursing & Health Studies at Georgetown University invites you to participate in the 2009 Healthcare Career Fair on Wednesday, December 2nd, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Career Fair is an annual recruitment event with representatives from both hospitals and health care organizations nationwide.
This year's event will take place in the Intercultural Center Galleria on campus located on Red Square. Here are a few highlights included in this career fair experience:
- You may drop your supplies at the office of Academic Council, St. Mary's Hall, Room 243 and then Academic Council members will direct you to a nearby parking garage.
- An Academic Council member will escort each attendee to their table and help prepare in any way possible.
- You will receive all the information needed for a successful day.
In the past, students have found the Career Fair to have a significant impact in determining their future professional opportunities. We are looking forward to welcoming you to Georgetown at the beginning of December!
The School of Nursing and Health Studies offers

Both undergraduate and graduate students from the School of Nursing & Health Studies and the other schools at Georgetown University will be in attendance. Other area institutions will be invited as well, including Catholic University of America, American University, George Washington University, Marymount University, University of Maryland, and Howard University.
Registration
The registration fee of $250 includes a display table and chairs and parking. Directions and a campus map will be sent to you upon receipt of the registration and invoice form.
Please complete the online registration
form no later than Friday, November 6, 2009.
For security reasons, we are unable to set-up online payment. After you register online, you will be able to print the invoice form. Please fax or mail this form with your payment, Visa and Mastercard are accepted.
If you are unable to attend, please feel free to forward any information about your institution. The School of Nursing & Health Studies keeps up-to-date files of professional opportunities available for all students. Therefore, receiving information from your organization would be greatly appreciated.
Logistical Information
for Recruiters
The cost to attend a fair is $250. Tables are typically 3 ft x 6 ft with tablecloths provided. Schools are ordered alphabetically around the room and listed by university first and school/program next.
We prefer that you not plan to use electricity or have internet access during the event.

Please note that boxes can get lost in the mail. We encourage you to carry extra materials with you. Neither GU nor Idealist is responsible for any lost materials. In addition, if you plan on sending boxes back to your school after the fair, please come prepared with payment information.
