The Department of Health Systems Administration has close relationships with a wide variety of health care service delivery organizations throughout the Washington metropolitan area. We work with senior executives to arrange for internships, the graduate practicum, summer and part-time jobs.

An internship is required in the spring semester of the senior year as part of HESY 216, "The Quest for Quality" seminar and internship. Interns are assigned to senior executives of the Georgetown University Hospital who introduce the students to the practical aspects of working on issues and projects that focus on achieving the highest possible quality of care.
