Project RN Scholarship:
Do you aspire to be nurse faculty?

Student in classroomGeorgetown University NHS, in collaboration with Blue Cross Blue Shield is pleased to announce fully funded scholarship opportunities for applicants interested in pursuing their goal of becoming nurse faculty.

This scholarship allows a select few the opportunity to obtain a Masters degree in:


Scholarship Requirements

  1. Acceptance to the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences in the above listed degree programs,
  2. Matriculation as a full time student,
  3. Willingness to work ten hours per week with nursing faculty for two out of three academic semesters,
  4. Commitment to work for three years as nurse faculty at Georgetown NHS or at a school of nursing in the greater metropolitan area immediately following graduation.


Application Process

  • APPLICATION DEADLINE IS JUNE 15, 2008

  • Submit completed scholarship application via e-mail to mdb64@georgetown.edu, OR hand deliver to Michelle Blancas, Room 205, St. Mary’s Hall.

  • All applicants will be contacted shortly after application is received to schedule a mandatory interview to be held with the admissions staff as well as chairs of the individual departments recognized.
